Blog #12

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why? If I could change one thing in this world, I would change the fact the others are judged on how they act and what they do by what they wear and the music they like. Do you know how many times I have been called a trouble maker because I have piercings and listen to "devil worshipping" music? Too many times. People need to understand that just because you like heavy music that "screams", doesn't mean you are a terrible person. And just because I have facial piercings doesn't mean that I go out at night and destroy people's property. It's the people you never expect to get in trouble who actually do. My record is clean. People need to learn not to judge someone just because of how they look.

Blog #11

*What is your legacy? What are you leaving behind for others? (or what do you hope you are leaving behind for others) Another way to think of this question: how do you want to be remembered by future students? Or do they want to remembered at all? If not, why not?* **
I want to be remembered as as the girl who never gave up and always made sure everyone else was okay. I want to be known as one of the very few people who was truly there for other people. I won't care if I'm not remembered though. I have never really stuck out so I wouldn't mind. Another thing I would like to be remembered for, if I am remembered, is the person who always had a smile on her face. There are a lot of things that can bring me down in a day but I usually never show it in person. It takes a strong person to do that.

Blog Post #10

What are your five favorite songs at this point in time? Why?
1) Still Counting by Volbeat - The reason why this is my favorite song is because the song is pretty much about how everyone is mean in their own way. There is no such thing as someone who is perfect. We all judge and we can't point fingers.
2) A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold - The reason this song is one of my favorite songs is because I love the sound of Matt Shadow's voice in it. It is a heavy yet sweet sounding song.
3) Sad But True by Metallica - This song has been one of my favorite songs for a long time because my dad would always play it around me. Metallica is by far one of my favorite bands.
4) Fiction by Avenged Sevenfold - This song gives me goosebumps. It has a very creepy sound but it's so beautiful. It brings back a lot of good memories to me and that is why I like it.
5) Ex's and Oh's by Atreyu - This song has some good memories but a lot of bad memories. The only reason it is still one of my favorites is because I love the sound of the drums in it.
