*If a genie appeared and said they would grant you three wishes, what wishes would you choose and why?* If a genie appeared and said that he could grant me 3 wishes, my first wish would be to settle the disagreements between my parents. They recently got divorced so they are always bickering and fighting. I have a graduation party coming up and i'm afraid that they are going to fight during it so I'd wish that they could just get along. My second wish would to cure cancer. I've had too many of my family members get diagnosed with some kind of cancer. They have been cured but it's still scary and sad to think about. My last wish would that my Grandma Renn would be cured of her arthritis. I'm not sure what kind she has but I know it's the kind that pretty much makes you unable to do much and hurts you all over. I just want her to go one day without being in pain.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why? If I could change one thing in this world, I would change the fact the others are judged on how they act and what they do by what they wear and the music they like. Do you know how many times I have been called a trouble maker because I have piercings and listen to "devil worshipping" music? Too many times. People need to understand that just because you like heavy music that "screams", doesn't mean you are a terrible person. And just because I have facial piercings doesn't mean that I go out at night and destroy people's property. It's the people you never expect to get in trouble who actually do. My record is clean. People need to learn not to judge someone just because of how they look.

*What is your legacy? What are you leaving behind for others? (or what do you hope you are leaving behind for others) Another way to think of this question: how do you want to be remembered by future students? Or do they want to remembered at all? If not, why not?* **
I want to be remembered as as the girl who never gave up and always made sure everyone else was okay. I want to be known as one of the very few people who was truly there for other people. I won't care if I'm not remembered though. I have never really stuck out so I wouldn't mind. Another thing I would like to be remembered for, if I am remembered, is the person who always had a smile on her face. There are a lot of things that can bring me down in a day but I usually never show it in person. It takes a strong person to do that.

Blog Post #10

What are your five favorite songs at this point in time? Why?
1) Still Counting by Volbeat - The reason why this is my favorite song is because the song is pretty much about how everyone is mean in their own way. There is no such thing as someone who is perfect. We all judge and we can't point fingers.
2) A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold - The reason this song is one of my favorite songs is because I love the sound of Matt Shadow's voice in it. It is a heavy yet sweet sounding song.
3) Sad But True by Metallica - This song has been one of my favorite songs for a long time because my dad would always play it around me. Metallica is by far one of my favorite bands.
4) Fiction by Avenged Sevenfold - This song gives me goosebumps. It has a very creepy sound but it's so beautiful. It brings back a lot of good memories to me and that is why I like it.
5) Ex's and Oh's by Atreyu - This song has some good memories but a lot of bad memories. The only reason it is still one of my favorites is because I love the sound of the drums in it.

If you could create a movie of your life, who would you cast and what would the story be? If I could write a movie, I would play me in my movie and Adam Levine would play himself as well. We would run away from his ugly wife because she suddenly decided that she didn't love Adam. What she didn't know is that Adam was already planning on leaving her because he was so madly in love with me from the beginning but was afraid that I wouldn't accept him for who he is. We got married at one of his concerts but instead of him wearing a tux, he showed off his buff body. He stayed at home with the 10 kids we had and I went to work as a doctor who made millions of dollars and we lived happily ever after.

This quote means a lot to me and shows a great significant because it shows that no matter what you do, right or wrong, you can always change it. Never think that since you chose a certain way to live or anything that you can't change how you are living or the choices that you make. That’s the beauty of being human. We may have certain ways we live to scientist but there isn't a certain way that we have to live our lives. If we aren't happy with let’s say your job. You don't have to stick with that job your entire life. You have the power to do whatever you think is right and what you think will help you in the long run and make you happy.

*If you could meet anyone - past or present - who would it be and why?* If I could meet anyone past or present, I would say I'd like to meet not just one person, but the entire band of Metallica. They aren't just my favorite band, they are an inspiration. I love how hard they worked to get as far as they have in the music life. I would love to meet them because when I was just a baby, my dad always played their music. Now that i've grown up, all I want to do is go to their concerts and meet them. Their music gets to me. Not just the way they play their instruments, but the lyrics. But if I had to meet someone as in just one single person, I would meet Josh Groban. He is such an amazing singer and musician. He has the voice of a God. His lyrics are amazing in every way and no matter how many times I listen to him, he always seems to make me happy.

*What are you most proud of?* I'm most proud of my little brother. He has gone through just as much as I have with my family. When I was little, I used to have to see my parents fight daily. There wasn't any time for me because all they ever could do was fight about anything and everything. I understand why my parents got a divorce. I'm old enough to know that they are better apart than they are together, but, Damon doesn't. He's only a 10 year old little boy that is afraid that he is isn't going to be able to see him mom or his dad. Even though he has been through my parents divorcing, he still is a hard worker. He knows that both his parents love him deeply and that no matter what, they will never leave him for anything.

*What motivates you?*
Not too many things can motivate me anymore. I'm not sure why but I am one of those kind of people that I just motivate myself. Some things that actually do motivate me is seeing people and how or what they've become. For example, when I walk into Mc Donalds and see the people that are in their late 30's early 40's, it makes me ask myself, "Is it worth it just to drop out of school or to stop caring about school? Do I want to end up like them making barely minimum wage?". I don't know if that's a good way to be motivated but it's one of very few that helps me. The other way I get motivated is to see how great people are and the things that they can do. Personally, I am very competitive. If someone is doing better than me let's say at a sport or in school. I will mentally tell myself that I know that I can do better and I will honestly try as hard as I can to do better than them. Not just because I want to beat them, but to become a better person at whatever I want to beat them at.

*What is your personal credo (belief)?*
I have a lot of things that I take personally to heart. One main belief that I have is that everyone should have the right to believe in something and not get judged off of it. If someone is Jewish and you don't believe in what they believe in, who says that you have the right to judge them just because you are either a different religion or just because they aren't like you? Another strong belief I have in is as a parent, show your kids that they can talk to you and come to you whenever they have a question or a problem. Most parents I know yell at their kids and say if they ever do anything that they don't like, they will ground them. I have always had amazing parents. they have gotten mad at me for the stupid things that I have done, but they have never made me feel like I am not able to come to them if I have done something or have a serious question.

*What characteristics do you value most in a friend? Explain why they are important.*
Some characteristics I like to find in my friends are they are open minded, easy to talk to and aren't two faced. The reason it's important that friends are open minded is because I want them to not be afraid to tell me their point of view on something I am having trouble with. If they think that i'm in the wrong, I want them to be able to not be afraid to tell me that.
The reason I want my friends to be easy to talk to is because if they are the kind of people that just pay attention  to their phone of over talk you when you are trying to talk, I don't want to be friends with them. My friends need to be able to show that they really do care what I'm talking to them about.
The last characteristic that I look for in a friend is that they aren't two face. To me that is the most important characteristic because if they are going to go off and talk badly about me to someone else and then act like they really care to my face, I want nothing to do with them. If they have a problem with me, I want them to be able to tell me that to my face.

*What does the following quote mean to you? "You don’t get to pick where you’re from, but you always have control of where you’re going."*
What this quote means to me is that you have no choice as to how you are raised or where you are raised as a child but you always have a choice as to where you go when you grow up. To me that doesn't even just mean when you are a kid. Even as an adult, if you living a certain way at the moment, you always have a choice to move or go out and make something of you life. No one can control you when you set yourself a goal and go after that goal. You could be held captive all your life as a child and not get anywhere as a kid but once you become an adult, you have all rights as to become what you want to become.

Prompt #1

If a handful of people can change the world for the worse, then I am certain that a handful of people can change the world for the better.
What will you do do to make this world of ours, which feels so broken right now, a better place?

Honestly, I wish I could just change the world completely. The world right now is such a messed up place and I wish I could show everyone the mistakes that we make on a daily basis. Right now, I am making a difference in this world by helping people with their problems. I am the person people go to if they are afraid to do something or if they don't want to talk about something because they are too embarrassed.

Everyday I see people walking alone in the hallways because they just aren't in the mood to talk to anyone because something in their life just isn't right. I'm the one everyone isn't afraid to come to! I don't judge people by their past or even their present. All I ever want to do is prevent people from always being depressed and actually enjoy their lives. If we could have more people open their eyes and see that everyone needs at least one person to talk to, we could save a lot of lives. Never think that someone is always happy because you never know who is upset and who is just hiding their emotions.

College?

I have not applied to any college yet but I plan on going to college in Atlantic.
